I couldn't bring myself to devote $40 - $50 for the "Original Handy Cooler," so certainly I cannot compare the two. My expectations would be fairly high for $40 and I have a feeling they would not have been met. For $11, how bad could it be? I can not verify that this knockoff version in fact cools as much at 30 degrees, but there is unquestionably a measurable difference. I live in NYC and have so far used this in the street, in the subway station, and in the workplace when the air conditioner was not working.
- Outdoors. I believe my city has a properly-identified reputation for its hazy, hot and humid summers. I have used this device on some such days whilst walking someplace. The essential is to get your private "hot spot" at which to direct the air. And you either have to hold it close to you (if the wind is blowing) or make sure the air is blowing in the exact same path as the wind. I would describe the cooling impact from the device as feeling like the cool breeze you would get whilst under tree shade. They say trees cool as substantially as 20 degrees so I would give this device at least that considerably credit in term of how substantially it cools.

I assume I would like it if the air came out stronger, but what does come out is adequate. The usb on my device only works when plugged into my desktop pc. It does not operate with my laptop for some cause. I am anxious for the day when devices such as these can be created smaller. It's particularly awkward to walk down the street holding this factor. It would be great if it had been modest enough to put on around my neck possibly and somehow cool my whole upper half. So if there are any inventors out there, get started thinking.

This factor right here is NOT an actual air conditioner, so don't anticipate it to operate like 1. It's just a little device that does what it is tiny built is produced to do.
